I finished a sweater! It’s a test knit for a cardigan called North Peninsula by Gabrielle Danskknit. I made some modifications (omitting the cable panel on the back, tightening up the neck with a crochet edge and a few other minor mods noted on my Ravelry page, here.)
I LOVE how it turned out!
I’m not sure what inspired me to put 10 buttons on this tiny sweater, but I’m happy I did. I think I was overcompensating in an attempt to make sure the button band didn’t pull when it was closed.
It’s a beautiful sweater and your button band is perfect! 10 buttons looks really fun and cute. Great job! It looks great on your daughter.
Thank you! I am so in love with it. It was the perfect combination of pattern and yarn, and I’m so happy with how it fits.
It really turned out beautifully!
Thanks Marcia! It’s the perfect sweater – perfect color, perfect pattern, perfect fit!
