Thank goodness Lego League is FINALLY over! Wow. It’s been a loooong and sometimes stressful experience this year, but I’m happy to say, my son stuck with it, through thick and thin, and his team ended up winning a trophy in recognition for their project performance and came in 3rd place overall for the state!
In the end I think he really enjoyed it, and was extremely proud to have been a part of such a successful team. It was all of their first times doing the robotic challenge, and the fact that they came in 3rd in the state, as fifth graders who had never done this before, says A LOT about how well they worked together, and especially about how amazing their coaches were. I’m not sure he will want to do it again next year, but as you can see from this photo, he was thrilled to have made it as far as they did.
Congratulations! That is so awesome for his team to have done so well.
Thanks! It was a great experience for him and his team.
